Madison Main Street is planning its second Farm to Table Dinner for the Madison/Jefferson County Farmers Market on Sept. 3 around the Broadway Fountain in downtown Madison.
This community event will feature a locally sourced four-course meal prepared by area chefs, craft beers and wine, local music and a pop-up arts garden featuring farm scenes artwork by area artists available for purchase.
The purpose of the event is to say “thank you” to local farmers and to raise funds for the local farmers market, according to a news release from Madison Main Street.
Tickets are $50 for adults and $30 for children 12 and younger. Tickets are available at Little Golden Fox, 602 W. Main St., Madison.
The Madison/Jefferson County Farmers Market is open annually from April to October on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday mornings from 8 a.m. to noon. In addition to fresh produce, locally sourced meats and breads, the Saturday morning market features live music, art and outdoor breakfast.
