NORTH VERNON
Raymond L. Richart, 74, of North Vernon, died at 4:44 a.m. Wednesday, March 22, 2017, at IU Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.
Survivors include his wife, Jane; two daughters, Deborah (Tim) Clark of North Vernon and Julie (Rodney Reynolds) Blount of Columbus; three sons, Daniel (Angie) Richart and Mark (Sheila) Richart, all of North Vernon, and Scott (Mandi Hauersperger) Richart of Madison; four sisters, Louise Vogel and Mary Margaret Jordan, both of North Vernon, Janet Welling of California and Sarah Beth Gater of Columbus; two brothers, Louis Richart of North Vernon and Tom Richart of Shelbyville; and 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Ann Catholic Church. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Sawyer-Pickett Funeral & Cremation Service with a rosary service at 3:30 p.m.
Memorials may be made to St. Vincent DePaul Society or Our Hospice of Jennings County.
