This year, the Seymour wrestling club had 21 grapplers from elementary, middle and high school at the Indiana State Wrestling Association’s Individual State Wrestling Championship.
Those with high placings included:
- Olivia Ratliff, 50 pounds Peewee, 1st
- Isaiah Pichardo, 100 Junior, 1st
- Asher Ratliff, 70 Intermediate, 2nd
- David Vogel, 55 Novice, 6th
- Alejandro Sachinas, 195 Cadet, 6th
- Brayden Rorick, 112 Novice, 7th
The Olympic styles are now in season with ISWA Freestyle and Greco State Championship happening the first week of May.
