NORTH VERNON

Eleanor A. Dorsett, 88, of North Vernon died Monday, Oct. 24, 2016, at Covered Bridge Health Campus in Seymour.

Survivors include three daughters, Nora (Clyde) Campbell and Mary Kilgore, all of North Vernon, and Joanna (John) Parks of Columbus; two sons, Robert Dorsett III, and William (Andrea) Dorsett of North Vernon; two brothers, Patrick McCauley of Indianapolis and Tom (Elizabeth) McCauley of North Vernon; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Dorsett, on Oct. 13, 2008.

A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Sawyer-Pickett Funeral & Cremation Service, with a rosary service beginning at 3:30 p.m.

Memorials may be made to St. Vincent DePaul Society or St. Mary’s School.
