The National Association of Letter Carriers’ annual Stamp Out Hunger food drive will be conducted Saturday.

To participate, place non-perishable donations in a bag by your mailbox, and your carrier will make sure it is delivered to a local food bank.

The list of items that can be donated includes canned meats, fish, soup, juice, vegetables, pasta, cereal, peanut butter and rice.

The food drive’s national partners are the United States Postal Service, National Rural Letter Carriers’ Association, United Food and Commercial Workers International Union, United Way Worldwide, AFL-CIO and Valassis.
