Brownstown FFA earns awards at contest

Members of the Brownstown Central High School FFA recently competed in contests at West Washington High School.

Twenty chapters from District XI were competing in 26 contests. Awards also were presented to members in district proficiency award areas.

Those receiving awards from BCHS FFA were Matthew Stuckwisch, third place, Food Science Demonstration, and first place, Forest Management and Products; Jalen Curry, first place, Agricultural Services; Dylan Cockerham, first place, Beef Production Placement; Chelsea Reynolds, third place, Freshman Extemporaneous Public Speaking; Macy Nierman, second place, Beef Production Entrepreneurship; Bryce Bowman, first place, Dairy Production Placement; Andrew Kellermeier, first place, Diversified Crop Production Placement; Tucker O’Neill, first place, Equine Science; Carter Tape, first place, Food Science and Technology; Reece Covert, first place, Fruit Production; and Allison Deaton, second place, Home and Community Development.
