Schneck Foundation recently announced two new giving programs, Champion of Care and Footprints of Schneck Family Life Center.

The Champion of Care giving program provides an opportunity for patients, family and friends to show how much they appreciated the care they received while at Schneck.

Maybe it was a kind word, a gentle smile or a warm blanket that brought comfort. It could have been a lifesaving procedure or a visit from a volunteer.

Champion of Care gives an opportunity to make a monetary gift in honor of a doctor, a nurse, a housekeeper or anyone who may have gone above and beyond to provide quality care and excellent service.

Parents, grandparents, family members and friends are invited to celebrate the arrival of a new baby by making a donation to the Footprints of Schneck Family Life Center.

Through a donation, the baby’s name is placed on the Schneck Family Life Center Recognition Wall. Parents of babies honored receive a card acknowledging the donation in their child’s name.

Footprints donations are used to improve services and purchase equipment to enhance the care provided by Schneck Family Life Center.

“A gift to the Schneck Foundation enables us to improve and expand patient care services, purchase medical equipment upgrades and provide educational activities and programs for our growing community,” said Rexanne Ude, the foundation’s executive director. “Together, we can ensure the best health care for our neighbors, friends and families.”

One hundred percent of donations to the foundation goes directly to supporting the services provided by Schneck Medical Center in Seymour. All gifts are tax-deductible as allowed by current IRS regulations to this 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization.
