Parks and rec summer softball registrations now underway
The Seymour Parks and Recreation Department is accepting registrations for the three summer softball leagues.
These leagues will include: Men’s Open League, Church League and Thursday Morning Men’s League.
Registrations will be accepted until April 15.
You may register online at seymourin.recdesk.com or at the Parks Office at 301-309 N. Chestnut Street, Seymour.
For the Men’s Open League, the team sponsor fee is $325 and each roster must have a minimum of 10 $17 player fees.
League games will be played at Gaiser Park and Freeman Field on Monday and Wednesday evenings. The tournament championship team will receive up to a $2,000 cash prize based on the number of teams in the league.
For the Church League, the team sponsor fee will be waived for this year only; however, each roster must have a minimum of 10 $17 player fees.
Each roster must not contain more than two non-members of the congregation’s team. League games will be played at Gaiser Park on Friday evenings.
For the Thursday Morning Men’s League, the team sponsor fee is $165 and each roster must have a minimum of 10 $17 player fees. League games will be played at Gaiser Park on Thursday mornings beginning at 9:30 a.m.
