A National Alpaca Farm Days event is set for 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at Hoosier Heartland Alpacas, 2500 N. County Road 1000W, Seymour.
On those two days, alpaca breeders from across the United States and Canada will invite the public to come to their farm or ranch to meet their alpacas and learn more about the unique animals, the luxury fiber they produce and why the alpaca business is good for environmentally conscious individuals.
At the free Seymour event, guests will be able to see alpacas, watch fiber spinning and participate in a living loom.
