Theta Omega chapter of Phi Beta Psi sorority met Sept. 2 at the home of Mary Reynolds for taco salads and an ice cream bar.
Co-hostesses were Melanie Klakamp and Angie Reynolds.
President Joan Trimpe discussed the state convention, set for Oct. 16, 17 and 18 at the Clarion Hotel in Clarksville. Theta Alpha Epsilon chapter in New Albany will serve as the host chapter for the convention. Delegates from Seymour will be Trimpe and Mary Reynolds.
Delegates to the national convention in July at Tampa Bay, Florida, discussed their experiences and the meetings. Those attending were Joan Trimpe, John Trimpe, Janet Cooper and Mary Reynolds.
Doris Baurle announced the Oct. 7 social.
Jackie Hill, Trimpe, Dana Byrkett, Jami Mathis and guest Cathy Otte received door prizes.
The next business meeting will be at 7 p.m. Monday at the Community Foundation of Jackson County.
