Library plans duct tape contest for youth

The youth services department of the Brownstown Public Library is sponsoring a duct tape contest.

To enter, youth may make an item using duct tape and turn it in at the library at 120 E. Spring St. between Oct. 1 and 19.

There will be two categories: Grades 6 to 8 and Grades 9 to 12. The most creative and original item in each category will be named the winner.

Items will be on display from Oct. 19-24 in celebration of Teen Read Week.

Winners will be announced Oct. 28.

Entry forms are available at the circulation desk and must be turned in with an item.
