The congregation of Driftwood Christian Church invites the public to attend the church’s bicentennial celebration Sept. 19 and 20.
The Sept. 19 celebration will begin at 4 p.m. with a meet-and-greet in the fellowship hall and will focus on the past. A light meal will be served at 5 p.m. with the program set to begin at 6 p.m. with former ministers sharing a five- to 10-minute summary of their memories.
On Sept. 20, there will be a worship service at 9 a.m. A group photo will be taken at 10:30 a.m. outside in front of the building, and a catered lunch will be at 11 a.m.
