The Jackson County Recycling District plans to conduct an electronics recycling, document destruction and shoe reuse collection event from 9 a.m. to noon Sept. 16 at 1010 W. Second St., Seymour.

Computers, laptops, printers, copiers, keyboards, televisions and DVD, VHS and CD players will be accepted for recycling, and documents containing sensitive information will be destroyed. Binders, binder clips and laminated paper are not acceptable.

All new and lightly used shoes and boots will be accepted and given to the needy. Profits will be given to Red Sky Rescue.
