Entries for photo contest now being accepted

Entries are now being accepted for the National Wildlife Refuge Week Photo Contest at Muscatatuck National Wildlife Refuge.

Eligible photos must have been taken at the refuge by noncommercial photographers and can be of any subject.

There are both student (younger than 18) and adult categories.

Prints must be at least 5-by-7 inches in size and mounted on a stiff backing (no frames or wires) with no significant alterations.

Other rules apply, and an official entry form should be secured to the back of the entry.

Two entries are allowed per photographer and must be delivered to the refuge by 4:30 p.m. Oct. 8 to be included in the contest.

Entries will be displayed in the Muscatatuck Visitor Center at the refuge east of Seymour for the month of October, and the winning entry of the contest will be published in the refuge newsletter.

For a complete list of rules and an entry form, email [email protected] or stop by the office or visitor center.
