Peggy Sue Combs Eversole, 76, of Dupont, passed away unexpectedly at 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 29, 2015, at her home.

She was the daughter of Corbett and Minnie Belle Feltner Combs, both of whom preceded her in death. She was married to Brother Edward Eversole for 46 years before he passed away July 30, 2002.

She was an avid gardener, quilter and rarely missed an auction or yard sale. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and was a great listener. She also will be fondly remembered for her love of “bling” jewelry and brightly colored clothing and shoes. She passed this love of “bling” on to her daughters and granddaughters.

Peggy will be missed by her loving daughters, Sheila (Brad) Ferguson of Dupont, Sherry (Pat) Reinhart of Seymour and Tammy (Davey) Smith of Columbus; and her loving sons, Robert (Robert) Eversole of Greensburg, and Ray and Tim Eversole of Nashville, Tennessee.

Private services will be conducted by Pastor Ronnie Bays and Pastor Darrell Stidham at Valley Settlement Old Regular Baptist Church near Deputy. Private interment will follow in the Collins Family Cemetery in Deputy.
