Jackson County Public Library recently received 50 complimentary Indiana State Fair admission tickets to be used as rewards for this year’s Every Hero Has a Story summer reading program.

The tickets are valid any day of the fair, which begins Aug. 7 and ends Aug. 23.

Participants who complete the summer reading program are eligible for one free ticket per person on a first-come, first-serve basis, according to a news release from the library.

Tickets will be distributed at the Seymour, Crothersville and Medora libraries and on the Discovery Bus starting July 24. Tickets cannot be reserved by phone, email or social media and can be claimed only in person.

For information about tickets, the summer reading program or any of the other programs offered at the Jackson County Public Library, call 812-522-3412, option 2, follow the library on Facebook or visit myjclibrary.org/events.
