Donna Sue Mosley, 77, of Columbus, passed away at 10:31 p.m. Sunday, July 12, 2015, at her home.
Born Dec. 12, 1937, in Seymour, she was the daughter of Granville B. and Elsie Hougland Murphy, both of whom preceded her in death. On Feb. 15, 2001, in Branson, Missouri, she married Dean Mosley, who survives in Columbus.
Following graduation from Crothersville High School in 1955, she attended Spencerian Business School in Louisville. She worked at Stretch & Sew for four years in Indianapolis and then was employed by Indianapolis Power and Light Co. as an executive secretary retiring April 1, 2001.
Donna enjoyed playing bridge, traveling, singing, playing piano, sewing and was a sports enthusiast watching IU and the Pacers.
Other survivors include her children, Mark A. (Nancy) Eades of Avon, Brian S. Eades of Bloomington, Illinois, Douglas K. (Denise) Eades of Powder Springs, Georgia, Kathy (Wayne) Wilhite of Columbus, Gordon (Merling) Mosley of Houston, Texas, Lisa (Brian) Reynolds of Edwardsville, Texas, and Regina (Jimmy) Herring of Palm Bay, Florida; 11 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a brother, Glenn Dale (Wilma) Murphy of Madison; and a sister, Marcia (Tildon) Slone of Seymour.
The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Adams Family Funeral Home & Crematory in Crothersville with burial to follow at Uniontown Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and after 9 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
