NORTH VERNON
Merle Lacey, 71, of North Vernon, died at 12:10 p.m. Friday, July 10, 2015, at Columbus Regional Health in Columbus.
Survivors include three daughters, Melanie Alcorn and Merlina (Dan) Harper, both of North Vernon, and Cheryl (Kevin) Birge of Dupont; son, Leslie (Brandy) Lacey of North Vernon; sisters, Deloris Hilbert, Betty Hawkins and Pat Canary, all of North Vernon; brothers, Leroy Lacey and Earl Lacey, both of North Vernon; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Sawyer-Pickett Funeral and Cremation Services in North Vernon with the Rev. George Haysler and the Rev. Pat Canary officiating.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Interment will be at Rush Branch Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the family through the funeral home.
