JACKSONVILLE, Fla.

George LeRoy Wine, 89, of Jacksonville, Florida, died Sunday, April 19, 2015, at the home of his son, Tom Wine, in Jacksonville, Florida.

Survivors include a son, Thomas (Michelle) Wine; daughters, Diana (Robert) Brockmann, Toni (John) Imbler, Mona Johnson and Colleen Trager; 12 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Ilene.

A graveside service with military honors will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Hillcrest City Cemetery with the Rev. John M. Imbler and the Rev. Bethany Imbler Albrecht officiating.

Visitation will be from 2 to 2:45 p.m. Saturday at Sawyer-Pickett Funeral Home in North Vernon.
