The American Cancer Society is calling all “superhero” cancer survivors to the 2015 Relay For Life Survivor Celebration at 6 p.m. April 25 in the fellowship hall at The Point, 311 Myers St., Seymour.

It’s free for survivors, and each guest is $5.

Survivors must RSVP by April 18 to Dr. Stephanie Burgess at [email protected] or 303 W. Second St., Seymour.

Cancer survivors also are invited to participate in the Survivor Lap immediately following the opening ceremonies of the “A Night of Heroes” Relay For Life of Jackson County. That event begins at 6 p.m. May 1 at Seymour High School’s Bulleit Stadium.

Survivors may pick up an official Relay For Life survivor T-shirt at the survivor dinner or at the track after 5:30 p.m. May 1.

All family members, friends and caregivers are invited to join survivors on the second lap. Everyone is invited to stay for dinner and other activities. The Luminaria Ceremony in honor and memory of people who have or had cancer begins at 9:30 p.m.
