City to present bicycle and pedestrian plan to public

During the past couple of months, Seymour city staff, the trails committee and their consultant, Christopher B. Burke Engineering LLC, have been working on a bicycle and pedestrian plan.

The result of all of this input has been assembled into a draft plan that will be presented to the public at 7 p.m. March 19 at city hall, 301 N. Chestnut St.

The meeting, which will take place in council chambers, will give residents an opportunity to review the proposed network of bicycle and pedestrian routes.

Many residents provided their input through a bicycle and pedestrian survey and participation at a public workshop earlier this year.
