BLOOMINGTON

Betty Bryant Renn, 87, of Bloomington, formerly of North Vernon, died Thursday, Feb. 26, 2015.

Survivors include three daughters, Barbara (Joseph) Howell of Indianapolis, Brenda (Ed) Dvorak Bowlen of Bloomington, and Mary Broyles of Gravel Switch, Kentucky; four sons, Dannie (Sherri) Bryant of Anderson, South Carolina, Lloyd (Beth) Bryant of Indianapolis, James (Tine) Bryant of Hope, and Ed “Shot” (Beverly) Bryant of North Vernon; six sisters, Rachel Wright of Lexington, Kentucky, Hettie Thompson of Florence, Kentucky, Minnie Browning of Louisville, Kentucky, and Margaret Sams, Orene Correll and Mary Ann Yantz, all of Somerset, Ketucky; a brother, Joe Day; 20 grandchildren; and several great-great-great grandchildren and great-great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by husbands, Roscoe Bryant and Atheara Renn.

The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Sawyer-Pickett Funeral & Cremation Service in North Vernon.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday and from 12:30 p.m. until the time of service Sunday. Burial will be in Vernon Cemetery.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to the Down Syndrome Association of Greater St. Louis.
