The American Cancer Society Relay For Life of Jackson County kicked off the 2015 season Monday at MainSource Bank in Seymour.
The theme for this year’s Relay For Life, planned for May 1 at Seymour High School, is “A Night of Heroes.”
Leadership team members were introduced. They are Jan Engel (experience); Heather Quillen (fund the cure and sponsorship); Josh Quillen (people); Julia Aker (marketing/online and communications); Angel Wente and Betsy Thompson (relay activities); Jennifer Babbs (accounting); Pam Bobb (mission); John Brummett (logistics); Stacey Brummett (food); Dr. Stephanie Burgess (survivors and caregivers); and Lora Howard (luminaria).
Open positions include community champions, team ambassadors and youth champion. Anyone interested in one of those positions can contact a leadership team member.

Anyone participating who wants a Relay T-shirt must be registered by April 5. Registration is online at relayforlife.org/jacksoncountyin.
The next meeting will be 6:30 p.m. Monday at MainSource Bank, 1104 E. Tipton St.
