Adults and teens are invited to read and discuss “The Statement” by Brian Moore with the Books By Night group meeting at 6 p.m. today at the Seymour Library.

No registration is required for this free program at the library, 303 W. Second St.

Led by volunteer Tim Decker, the group will talk about the book based on the life of a former pro-Nazi Vichy military officer, Pierre Brossard, who was in hiding for 44 years.
