Library planning School Age Lit programs

Jackson County Public Library will offer weekly School Age Lit Wednesdays, starting at 4:30 p.m. Jan. 14 for students in kindergarten through fifth grade at the Seymour Library, 303 W. Second St.

This class is designed to increase a child’s comfort level reading and listening to chapter books and longer stories and will include themed activities, according to a news release.

Parents are encouraged to wait outside the program room. Registration is required.
