A Parent’s Night Out event will be from 5:30 to 9 p.m. Dec. 11 at the Seymour Community Center, 107 N. Chestnut St.

It will be conducted by the Seymour Parks and Recreation Department.

Parents may drop off their children (kindergarten through age 11) during that time, and area teens and staff members from the parks department will care for the children and entertain them with crafts and holiday movies.

The cost is $5 per child. Anyone wishing to sign up should call the parks department at 812-522-6420 as spots are limited.
