The Gamma Phi chapter of Kappa Kappa Kappa met Nov. 4 at the home of Jessica Olsen.

The evening began with a pledging ceremony for this year’s Gamma Phi chapter legacies. A legacy is the daughter of a Tri Kappa member who is in her senior year of high school. These young ladies will work together on a pledge project and then will be announced and initiated into Gamma Phi at the June 2015 meeting.

Gamma Phi members brought items for the Christmas Gift Lift benefiting Mental Health America of Jackson County. Mental health committee chair Katherine Stahl thanked members for their generous donations.

Fall-themed refreshments were served by the social committee of Kim Cain, April Burnside and Heather Reedy.

President LaWanda Tidd called the business meeting to order, and reports were given by the officers and committee chairs.

Suzi Stuckwisch, Meals on Wheels chair, announced that the Meals on Wheels schedule is set. She thanked the volunteers who will be delivering meals.

Pecan chairwoman Andi Bukowski announced that the nuts were to be delivered Nov. 14.

November birthdays recognized were Chris O’Brien, Glenda Proffer and Deb Bedwell.

The annual Christmas party and inspection will be at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the home of Dody Bowman. There will be a “Just for Fun” activity following the meeting.
