Carr Township toys

auction set for Sunday

Carr Township Conservation Club plans to continue its efforts to provide toys for needy children.

The indoor Christmas auction will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the club on County Road 350S, just west of Medora.

Each year, the club collects toys for Jackson County Sertoma Club.

This will be the second auction the conservation club has conducted to collect toys this month. Several toys already have been donated from the first auction.

Items available at the auction include coffee, candy, dolls, Amazing Grace and Colts blankets, camouflage throws, lamps, winter hats, cooking utensils, bolt cutters, toys, tools, tarps, socks and gloves, diabetic socks, candles, knives, flashlights, figurines and Christmas items.

There will be a 50/50 drawing.

Homemade soup, pie and sandwiches will be served by club members.

Butch Wheeler is the auction dealer.

The public is invited to this free event.
